Head to Downtown Cary Park, 327 S Academy Street, Cary, North Carolina, for a Valentine’s Date Night on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m.
There’s no charge for the event.
Celebrate love at this free Valentine’s Date Night in the Park! Perfect for couples looking for a cozy, creative evening out, this event offers arts & crafts activities to enjoy together, live music setting the mood, and a delicious food truck to satisfy your cravings.
All activities are first come, first served, so arrive early. Bring your special someone and make memories with a night of laughter, connection, and Valentine’s Day fun under the stars!
Inside the Gathering House, couples will be guided by artist Kymberly Arana through the art of Jane Austen–style folded love letters, where you will write a meaningful note to your partner, learn traditional letter locking, and close it with a wax seal until you are ready to give it to your special someone.
Valentine’s-themed mini terrarium kits, thoughtfully prepared by Garden & Gather, will also be available for couples to create together.
Before you head out, stop by the photo op wall to snap a Polaroid picture, decorate it, and take home a sweet keepsake from the night.
Over in the Academy Pavilion, live music from the Josh Colton Duo will set the mood with popular romantic songs, perfect for crafting, relaxing, or simply enjoying the atmosphere together.
Lauren Hooper of Lauren Likes will lead the Love Note Project, where participants will write a sweet message about their partner on a wooden heart, paint and decorate it, and add it to a growing mural wall that will fill with love by the end of the evening.
Couples can also paint 3D ceramic pieces together with Cozy Panda to take home that night.
A limited number of ceramic pieces will be available for free while supplies last, with additional pieces available for purchase.
When hunger strikes, be sure to grab a bite from Not Just A Fry Guy along S. Academy Street!
