    Married to a 12 year Marine Veteran, police officer and we have 6 kids from our blended family, 2 are special needs. Since only one is under 12, we unfortunately can not afford many of these events and would love to have the opportunity to show our kids hot air balloons all while honoring our fallen hero’s! Our family has been through so much and we really need this. Most our kids are teens and besides electronics, it’s very difficult to find things they are interested in. This definitely has them excited and hoping we can find a way to get there!! Thank you for all your hard work in organizing this!!

    We have never been to this event! My family and I would love to celebrate Memorial day events at this festival. As part of our family values, whenever we see military veterans, active duty military, police or firemen, we always go up to them and thank them for their service. We have instilled into my young son the values of gratefulness and respectfulness. I can’t tell you how many times, we have had veterans (some with tears in their eyes) thank US for acknowledging their service. It would be an privilege to be selected so that we can honor the people who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

    After MOVING almost every member of my family at least 1x over the last 6 weeks and trying to work full time & help my HUBBY take care of my MIL who broke her femur, went to Re-hab, & today is moving into ASSISTED living – it would BE AWESOME to do something fun that honors veterans & celebrates 1st Fruits Farm

    In the past I tried to make it to a hot air balloon festival, but wasn’t able to make it there due to unforeseen circumstances so I’m excited about taking my daughter this year. I also think its great that this event with be honoring veterans and has the suicide walk for them. My ex-husband was retired military when he passed from cancer a few years ago and my two adult daughters are also veterans of the navy and army, so I know how rewarding a military career can be but also stressful for the veteran as well as their families. My 12 year old daughter looks up to them but decided she wants to go straight to college to become a veterinarian. Anyway, I’m sure this will be a great event.

    I love hot air balloons and do photography on the side, I went to my first festival and there was only three balloons.     I would Loved these tickets for my son’s battle buddy and they were best friends plus roommates. He put his life in danger to make sure my son wasn’t left behind even though he was KIA instantly. It would be a special day for us to share together.

    We went one year when Sidewalk Prophets was on the venue. My children absolutely loved the festival! I love the fact that the farm is owned by a previous professional NFL player who celebrates and honors our Veterans and encourages the public to do the same. He also opens up the farm to local churches and the community. It’s such a humble act of kindness and certainly very encouraging to see in today’s society. I am now a single mom of four young ones with no support anymore so it would be a blessing to win the tickets for my little ones! Thanks for considering giving… yet again!

    Loved this last year. Got great pictures of the hot air balloons. My dad served for 20 years and the Memorial flag garden is especially meaningful to me.     We used to go to the balloon festival in Carbondale, IL when we lived there. I’m so excited to see that there is a balloon festival nearby now that we’ve moved here. There is nothing like seeing the wonder in your kids’ eyes as the balloons ascend for the glow and their excitement as they see the balloons fill up and start to lift off from the ground!
