The Town of Apex is offering four egg hunts in 2024. Registration is required for all of them.

Egg hunts are not just for children anymore! Bring your furry friends and a basket to hunt for treat-filled eggs together and get a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. Our UltiMutt Dog Egg Hunt is being offered for all Town of Apex Annual Dog Park Pass holders and their fur babies. For safety all dogs must remain on a leash throughout the hunt. Registration required. Limited to 25 families. If all spots are taken, you can register for a waitlist.
Egg-streme Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt

This free event is for teens ages 10-13. Grab your flashlight and search for candy filled eggs. The hunt will start precisely at 8:15pm so please arrive at 8pm. Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. Advance registration required. Limited to 50 participants. Participants will gather at the large shelter. The hunt will take place throughout the disc golf course, so please wear appropriate shoes.

This is a free special event for individuals with disabilities. Grab your flashlight and search for candy filled eggs. The hunt will start precisely at 8:15pm so please arrive at 8pm. Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. Advance registration required. Support staff are welcome.
Apex Bunny Trail Egg Hunt

Grab your family and get ready to hit the trail for a free egg hunt! Registration is required. There are four time slots to choose from, with space for 20 family families in each section. Only one adult per family needs to register.
Families will be released one at a time around the trail. The path is approximately .25 miles and is not paved, so be aware it may be muddy depending on weather conditions. When you arrive at the park, follow the signs to park and check-in. Kids of all ages are welcome, but please leave the pets at home. If bad weather is expected, they will let everyone know if the event needs to be cancelled the day before.
